General Advice on Writing GCSE Coursework
GCSE coursework is a paper that you will have to complete at the end of your high school. This is what makes this kind of work really important. You have been studying for so long and now you have to do your best. You need to demonstrate your knowledge and skills. You need to prove that you are ready to leave high school.
GCSE coursework can be assigned for many disciplines. It can be Math, History, English, Music, Religious studies and so on. Definitely, GCSE coursework in History will be a little different from the same coursework in Math. However, there are aspects that should be introduced in the courseworks despite the discipline.
Now, we are going to give you some of those aspects.
- It would be better if you start your paper with the introduction. The introduction is the part of your coursework that will show the examiner the extent to which you understand the problem. So, you will have to tell what the problem is about and how you understand it. Besides, you can describe the ways of tackling the problem.
- It is important to tell about the ways how you are going to get your results. What is more, you have to make the prediction whether these methods will be effective. If they are not, later in your coursework you will have to explain the reasons why your methods did not work.
- Try different ways of describing the results. Do not just tell what you have achieved, but also show it. Here you can use the charts, diagrams, tables and so on.
So, you have two major goals while writing GCSR coursework. You need to demonstrate your knowledge and you have to do it in a clear way.
